Keep your kitchen fresh – efficiently and silently

Keep the air in your kitchen fresh at all time. Our hoods noiselessly refresh the air during and after your cooking – just with a press of a button. The hood does the job with power and efficiency, yet in almost a complete silence. Enjoy the moments of eating and cooking in your kitchen.

Wall-mounted hoods

This type of decorative chimney hood is used if the hob is located in front of a wall and can be integrated as a design element between two wall units or placed freely on the wall. Chimney hoods are available in a range of styles and sizes, mainly in widths of 60, 90 and 120 cm. They all provide either surface or edge extraction.

Integrated hoods

Build-in hoods are installed in a wall unit. The exhaust ducting can be routed through the ceiling or laterally along the wall units. Built-in hoods allow for space to be used to optimal benefit in the kitchen.

Island, worktop & ceiling hoods

If you have a kitchen island you can choose between the discrete hoods such as mounted ceiling hoods and worktop hoods or choose a more decorative hood such as a free-hanging island hood that gives your kitchen distinctive style - all are equipped with functionalities so you can enjoy the fresh atmosphere in your kitchen.

Filters for cooker hoods

Cooking generates vapours containing grease, moisture and odours that condense on surfaces in the kitchen. A cooker hood enables controlled air exchange with two types of filters, grease filter and active carbon filter.

Cleaning and changing the filter

Regenerating a reusable filter usually involves two stages. First, the filter is placed in a dishwasher and cleaned using an intensive programme (60°C, no other dishes!). It is then left to dry in the air or in a preheated oven. Refer to the operating instructions for further details. The expected service life is approx. 3–4 years depending on the individual filter and its use.

Tips for using and operating a cooker hood

• The cooker hood should be switched on a few minutes before starting to cook so that the air in the kitchen starts to move in good time.

• Once cooking is finished, the fan should be left to run for 10 minutes so that odours in the room can continue to be absorbed and the active carbon filter can dry out.

• Kitchens with a recirculation hood should be aired after cooking to remove moisture from the room.
